Book Trailer 3D Visualization & Motion Graphics | Villa Winter
This is my take on a cinematic 3D book trailer visualization, built to support the atmosphere and storytelling of Villa Winter.
For the author Anett Diell, I created this book trailer which was shot on location and later enhanced with motion graphics and CGI in postproduction.
The turning pages of the book were first procedurally built and animated in Houdini and a vellum simulation was then layered on top.
A major challenge were the single photo cards which were laying on top of the pages itself and tended to intersect the pages. Very precise and granular tweaking of the simulation settings were necessary to overcome this diffilculty.
