Shazam! Fury of the Gods – VFX Creature Effects

This project showcases my VFX and creature effects work created for Shazam! Fury of the Gods during film production.

My task was to create simulations for saliva and wings of the Dragon, as well as hair- and clothsimulation for the Dragonrider (Lucy Liu).

All setups were adjusted to work in most scenarios to reduce workload.

A major obstacle were the Dragon's Wings which were, because of the nature of their style, often intersecting with the body. For those issues I had to figure out a solution on shotbase, wheter it be more substeps (easy) or deeper vellum adjustements (complex)
