Unreal Engine Architecture Visualization – Real-Time ArchViz

In this project I created a real-time architectural visualization in Unreal Engine, aiming for a clean modern look and cinematic lighting.

Software:Unreal Engine, Houdini, After Effects
Category: Simulation, Environment, Lighting & Rendering
Tools: Vellum, Pyro, Niagara, Unreal Material Builder, Lumen Renderer

Unreal Engine is perfectly suited for all kind of visualization tasks. Easy Material Setups, Environment Creation and fast rendering with Lumen make it a viable option.

Here I built a bedroom with various assets and tried different lighting scenarios. This is why Unreal stands out as a visualization tool: one can easily change and swap lights and post process effects.

Also importing geometry and VDBs from other DCCs is straightforward. Here I created two vellum simulations in Houdini: the first is a freezed frame of dress unfurled on the bed and ottoman and the second is a simulation cache of a flowing curtain for dynamic movement.
